Local farmers benefit from increasing canola prices

CanolaBids for canola in Western Canada are now running higher than $10 per bushel.  Resource News International is quoting Gord Mitchell of Mitchell Grain Co, as saying:

Steady export and domestic processor demand has helped canola bids climb over that $10 per bushel level right across the Canadian Prairies.

Increased exports are being driven, in part, by demand from China.
