Teen badly beaten at after-grad party in Parkland County
At 2am on June 13th, teens partying south of Spruce Grove were witness to a horific beating on an 18 year-old man. Spruce Grove RCMP were called to a lot at Township Road 514 and Range Road 265 where they discovered a young man with a fractured skull. STARS was called in, and flew him to an Edmonton hospital. Since then, he has been diagnosed with paralysis on his left side; doctors are not yet sure if the paralysis is permanent.
One 17 year-old youth from Edmonton has been arrested for aggravated assault. Two other teenaged males, one 16 and the other 17, currently have warrants for their arrest.
About 75 teens were partying at the lot, because they didn’t want to go to the “dry grad” party in Edmonton. None of the names of the accused can be released under the Young Offender’s Act.
