Photo of Sex Offender Living in Spruce Grove Released
The Solicitor General’s office has release a picture of Gary Joseph Robins, a convicted sex offender who was released from custody on Sunday. Robins will be living in a Spruce Grove neighborhood.
He served 564 days in prison for sexual interference. RCMP add that he “has a lengthy criminal history of committing sexual offences against females under the age of 16 years within the Province of Alberta.” They believe “he poses a considerable threat to the community;” and are releasing information so that the public can be aware of the risk.
Robins is 44 years old, has brown hair and blue eyes, is approximately 6 feet tall, and weighs 160 pounds. He is restricted from engaging in any activity with children under 14, including using a computer to communicate with them. He is also banned from other locations where children under 14 might be present: public parks, schools, day cares, and swimming pools.
The RCMP news release, along with a photograph of Gary Robins, is available on the Alberta High Risk Offenders Website.
