Son of former Oiler suits up for the Spruce Grove Saints

Dillon Simpson is the son of former Oiler, Craig Simpson (who also does commentary on Hockey Night in Canada on CBC), but he’s already making a name for himself as a star defenceman. Despite his young age (he is currently 16), the young Simpson will be suiting up for the Spruce Grove Saints for their season debut on Friday. This will be his first Alberta Junior Hockey League regular-season game.
You can see the game at Credit Union Place, Friday, at 7pm (the Saints will be facing the St. Albert Steel).
