Habitat for Humanity coming to Stony Plain

habitatThere is hope for those looking to becoming a first-time homeowner in Stony Plain. Despite the recession, housing prices remain high throughout Alberta, and are still out of reach for many local residents.

Habitat for Humanity is hoping to change that by offering homes to residents who meet the following criteria:

  1. annual income between $32,000 and $54,000
  2. children living at home who are under the age of 18
  3. work or live in Stony Plain
  4. have never owned a home
  5. willing to volunteer 500 hours

Those who are interested can call 780-477-4055 for more information.
