Healthcare protest in Stony Plain today
Health rally planned
The Friends of Medicare will be protesting November 30th at the Westview Health Centre. Around noon, protesters will be meeting outside the Stony Plain hospital with hopes of sending Alberta Health Services CEO, Stephen Duckett, a message: “Don’t cut seniors out.”
They hope to improve the conditions for patients at the facility, which includes 50 continuing care beds.
