Spruce Grove RCMP warn about high risk sex offender

RCMP in Spruce Grove are alerting the public that Bruce Donald Windsor will be released from custody on March 26, 2010. He has just completed a 2 year sentence for the Possession of Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography, and Sexual Interference. RCMP say think that he “represents a significant risk to sexually offend against young females and poses a considerable risk to the community.” He will be residing in the Edmonton area.
Windsor is 48 years old, standing 5’10″ tall, and weighing 176 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
He must abide by the following court orders:
1. A 20 year order prohibiting him from attending a public park, public swimming area, daycare center, school ground, playground or community center where children under the age of 14 are present.
2. A lifetime prohibition from obtaining employment, paid or volunteer, that involves being in a position of trust towards a person under age 14.
3. A lifetime prohibition from using a computer system for the purposes of communicating with a person under the age of 14.
Police are emphasizing that these warnings are for precautionary purposes only, and that the public should not engage in vigilante justice.
