Spruce Grove… Equipment that was removed from two playgrounds in Spruce Grove last year will soon find a new home in Vietnam.
Through the City’s lifecycle program, new equipment was installed at the playgrounds on McLeod Avenue and Westbend Park.
The play equipment that was removed was donated to the Castle Downs Recreation Society International group, who had the equipment refurbished and sent to Da Nang, Vietnam. A group of volunteers from the group will be leaving for Vietnam on March 1 to install the equipment for local children to enjoy.
CTV News will be travelling with the group and providing live updates each morning from Vietnam, starting on March 3 at 7 a.m.
