<p>Liberal leader Dr. David Swann was <a href="http://www.edmontonsun.com/news/alberta/2009/11/24/11900026-sun.html">quoted in the Edmonton Sun</a> as saying: &#8221;Albertans are paying a high price &#8230; for the Stelmach administration&#8217;s unwillingness to face the problem.&#8221;</p>
<p>A representative for the developer, 1075990 Alberta Limited, says that they have responded to all complaints in a satisfactory manner. </p>

Despite the recession, housing prices remain high throughout Alberta, and are still out of reach for many local residents.</p>
<p>Habitat for Humanity is hoping to change that by offering homes to residents who meet the following criteria:</p>
<ol>
<li>annual income between $32,000 and $54,000</li>
<li>children living at home who are under the age of 18</li>
<li>work or live in Stony Plain</li>
<li>have never owned a home</li>
<li>willing to volunteer 500 hours</li>
</ol>
